Dr. Dieu Truong joins Therapy For Life with impressive experience in child clinical psychology and is a licensed psychologist and Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) in Texas. She is also a nationally certified school psychologist by the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP). Her educational background includes a Ph.D. in School Psychology from the University of Houston, a program accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA) and approved by NASAP. Additionally, she completed her predoctoral psychology internship (APA-accredited) and a postdoctoral psychology fellowship at the Center for Autism Research at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
With her extensive clinical and research experience, Dr. Truong is dedicated to serving autistic children, all children with learning differences, and their families through culturally and neurodiversity-affirming approaches. Her work in public schools and academic medical centers has equipped her for effective collaboration with the multidisciplinary team at Therapy For Life.
Dr. Truong’s commitment to holistic care aligns closely with TFL’s values, enhancing the quality of care and dedication to the children and families we serve. “I am excited to partner with a team who prides themselves on compassionate and comprehensive care,” says Dr. Truong. “I look forward to collaborating with other clinicians to develop innovative programs that are child- and family-centered, tailored to meet the unique needs of Houston’s diverse community.”
